Cody Zeller had 18 points & 6 rebounds. Charlotte gave a solid effort, before losing steam and giving up a 10-0 run to end the game. Terry Rozier, III had just 12 points with 7 assists, hounded by Avery Bradley to the result of 5 turnovers. Meanwhile, Bradley had 12 points with 4 steals. The Hornets were struggling with ball control all game long, totaling 17 losses that converted into 16 steals by the Spurs. Charlotte also had zero luck from long range, going a staggering 1-17. That isn't to say that San Antone was its usual sharp shelf from the perimeter, hitting just 9 threes and shying away from it early, instead capitalizing on Charlotte's poor transition defense. Brandon Ingram flourished from this, moving past a cold shooting spell to start the game, finishing with 20 points & 8 rebounds (8-15) and going on to hit two perimeter shots in rhythm. J.R. Smith redeemed his last game with 18 points, swiping four steals and stunning the home crowd late to hit two ...

Bojan Bogdanovic's corner 3PTer was the dagger. This game was a frustrating experience for the Spurs at home, who looked fine, played fine, but could never seize control to build a lead, the scoreboard in constant flux, until the Jazz went up late. San Antonio valiantly fought back, hoping for a last-possession 3PT opportunity. Then Bojan Bogdanovic's dagger fell from the corner, putting the Jazz up by five. Scoring Breakdown: 1st Qtr: 28-24, Jazz 2nd Qtr: 26-26 3rd Qtr: 31-31 4th Qtr: 28-25, Jazz "We fouled too much, we slipped back too many times. Sometimes you just have to concede it wasn't your night. Utah played fabulously tonight," Coach Popovich resigned on the sidelines having surrendered six more free throw attempts for Utah. Donovan Mitchell had 25 points, still one of the league's best young talents (10-22) with 4 assists. Rudy Gobert eclipsed Al Jefferson's Utah Jazz record with 29 rebounds and 17 rebounds (5 blocks), topping his ow...

Trade rumors have begun to swirl for DeRozan. DeMarr DeRozan has become the subject of trade rumors, as he went 8-20 for 16 points and 0-3 from 3PT distance, in a game without Kyle Lowry at his side as the star point guard nursed a sore finger on the sidelines. In his stead, Fred VanVleet had 17 points & a career-high 16 assists. Pascal Siakam's double-double of 16 points, 10 rebounds still wasn't enough, despite 13 boards by Marc Gasol. The Spurs annihilated Toronto in the final quarter 36-14, winning at home with ease after a resilient turnaround, trailing by 13 at halftime, as they made twelve deep shots and only had seven turnovers, half of the Raptors total. Dejounte Murray had 20 points with 10 assists and 3 teals. Avery Bradley scored 18 points, going 3-5 from deep. Brandon Ingram had 17.
